Former WWE star and manager Armando Alejandro Estrada has signed a new Legends contract with the company.
On September 13, PWInsider reported that WWE had signed former manager Armando Alejandro Estrada to a Legends deal with the promotion.
Estrada signed with the company in 2004 and was most well known for his role managing the late Umaga.
Estrada later became the General Manager of WWE’s version of ECW in 2007.
The former WWE star exited the company in 2008, but returned in 2010 through 2012. However, he was unfortunately lost in the shuffle and not used prominently on the company’s programming.
Estrada last wrestled in 2013, but he has made various managing appearances since then.
It remains to be seen what the company’s plans are for Armando Alejandro Estrada now that he’s signed a Legends deal at the time of this writing, and it doesn’t necessarily mean he’s planned for a future role on TV.
WrestleTalk will provide any further updates on Armando Alejandro Estrada’s WWE status when they become available.
