Former WWE Star Addresses Potential Royal Rumble 2025 ‘Comeback’

Former WWE Star Addresses Potential Royal Rumble 2025 ‘Comeback’ WWE

A former WWE star has addressed a potential ‘comeback’ in the upcoming Men’s Royal Rumble 2025 in new comments during a signing.

During an online signing with K & S WrestleFest, former WWE star Elijah (fka Elias) was asked about his ‘brother’ Ezekiel making a potential comeback in WWE, saying:

“Zeke got involved in the mix for a little while. It was great to see him live out his dream. It was a little bit short-lived. I thought he had a great career ahead of himself. Kevin Owens took care of him, that’s for sure.

He’s hanging out in California, working out, staying in shape. He’s rehabbing. He’s still recovering, still on the road back. Maybe one day he makes a comeback. Long recovery. Back injuries are no joke.”

Later he was more directly asked if it was likely that Zeke was rehabbing for a potential WWE Royal Rumble 2025 appearance, he elaborated.

Elijah said:

“I can’t speak on his behalf, but he’s recovering well. He’s getting primed for a comeback.”

WWE Royal Rumble 2025 is set for Saturday, February 1 from Indianapolis, Indiana and will feature the titular Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble matches.

Elsewhere during the signing, Elijah addressed a potential WWE return more directly, speaking on behalf of himself rather than his fictional brother.
