Former WWE Star Set For AEW Revolution 2026 Championship Match? WWE/AEW

A former WWE star has teased appearing at AEW Revolution, as a competitor in a championship match.

With Ricochet set to fight the odds on March 15, defending the AEW National Championship in a Blackjack Battle Royal on the AEW Revolution Zero Hour pre-show, another former WWE star who isn’t signed to the company has teased competing in this match.

With the 21-man lineup yet to be announced, an ex-WWE name has had a back-and-forth with Ricochet about potentially appearing in the match.

Bishop Dyer – fka Baron Corbin – commented on a Twitter post about the match, writing:

“Hmmm”

This led to the AEW National Champion responding, with Ricochet warning:

“Don’t even think about it!”

Looking to stay on Ricochet’s good side, at least for the time being, Dyer concluded:

“Fine just be we are bald brothers I’ll go on vacation instead.”

If Bishop Dyer does compete at Revolution, that will mark his first televised match for AEW, but second for the company overall.

The former Baron Corbin competed in a dark match ahead of the January 21 Dynamite episode, teaming with Martin Stone (fka Danny Burch in NXT), Hadar Horvitz and Ori Gold against Billy Gunn, Austin Gunn, Brady Booker (fka Bodhi Hayward in NXT) and Elijah Drago.
