Former WWE Star Spotted Backstage At AEW Dynamite

Former WWE Star Spotted Backstage At AEW Dynamite WWE, AEW

A former WWE star was reportedly present backstage at the July 10 edition of AEW Dynamite from Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

This week’s Dynamite was a special one for Calgary, as one of the city’s greatest ever pro wrestling exports: Owen Hart was honored via the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament finals.

The winners of both the men’s and women’s tournaments were crowned as Bryan Danielson and Mariah May took home the Owen Cup, as well as a guaranteed world title shot at AEW All In London.

With AEW Dynamite honoring a true Canadian legend, it’s perhaps fitting that one of the country’s former champions from years gone by stopped in to visit the show.

According to PWInsider, none other than former WWE Intercontinental Champion Lance Storm was present backstage at Dynamite.

Storm has been retired from in-ring competition since 2016, and currently works as a producer for TNA – who have most recently been enjoying a fruitful partnership with WWE via the NXT brand.
