Former WWE Star Top Dolla Believes Sasha Banks & Naomi Will End Up Back In WWE

The WWE future of former Women’s Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks & Naomi has been up in the air since they walked out of the May 16 WWE Raw show.

The duo are currently suspended without pay, with their items also being removed from WWEShop.com, and there are reportedly ‘no plans’ to bring the two back.

Former WWE star AJ Francis (Top Dolla) has spoken about the situation on the Public Enemies Podcast, where he refused to speculate on it, but at the end of the day it was Sasha and Naomi’s decision.

He said:

“I don’t know the backgrounds of what happened. I mean at the end of the day, we don’t know what was the real reason. Everybody’s gonna have a story. Everybody gonna have a reason why they did something. Everybody [will say] they know the reason that they did something. But at the end of the day, Sasha and Naomi felt that what they did was the right thing to do. If you agree with it, or you don’t agree with it, that was their call.”

Continuing on, when he was asked about whether he could see Sasha and Naomi returning to the company, he said:

“Are they probably gonna get punished for doing that? Yeah, probably. Are they gonna come back? I would assume. I would assume they’d come back from it. But like, you never know man.”

WWE stripped Sasha and Naomi of their Women’s Tag Team Championship following the suspension, with a tournament for the vacant titles set to take place soon.
