The NWA has been on hiatus while the COVID crisis has forced many wrestling companies to stop holding shows. However, many companies are beginning to get back to business.
It appears The NWA is not far from getting back in business either. They posted a video today that revealed that none other than Mike Bennett has issued a challenge to Nick Aldis for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship.
The challenge has been issued!
The full unedited, uncensored video will be available tonight for our $10 & $50 patrons at https://t.co/DDV3c72AAs.

At the time of this article, Aldis had not responded. The NWA has not specified where or when this match may happen.
Many expected Mike Bennett to wind up in ROH due to his close personal friendship with Matt Taven. Of course, this challenge doesn’t mean that isn’t happening.
ROH and NWA have had a working relationship. Marty Scurll and Nick Aldis were involved in a dual-company storyline prior to the pandemic.
It’s great to see Bennett back. He’s a guy who has had quite a bit of success prior to coming to WWE. He was an X-Division Champion in IMPACT and tag champ in NJPW and ROH.
Most recently, Bennett appeared on TalknShop-A-Mania. Stay tuned to WrestleTalk for more information as it becomes available.
