Tatanka was one of the legends that WWE brought back for an appearance on Raw Legends Night this week, appearing in a backstage segment with Mickie James, IRS and current Raw star Angel Garza.
Speaking of Tatanka, during an interview with Boston Wrestling MWF’s Dan Mirade, Tatanka spoke about Goldberg’s winning streak in WCW and claimed to have beaten it with around 1000 straight-wins with WWE:
“We literally wrestled about 500 times a year, not including if you were being used on TV by Vince McMahon. You would wrestle at least twice [per day]. Everyone always talks about Tatanka, the undefeated streak, the two-year undefeated streak. Goldberg, 173 and 0, when we finally figure it out and we start talking to everybody, actually I’d probably be close to 1,000 and 0 because I went two years undefeated.”
Despite being undefeated for two years, Tatanka never won any titles during his time with WWE, with his only accomplishment with the company being a Slammy Award in 1994 for the “Greediest’ wrestler.
