Former WWE Star Comments After First Match Outside Of The Company WWE

A recently departed WWE star has commented after competing in their first match since leaving the company last month.

WWE held it’s latest round of talent cuts back in early May, which saw a number of names released from both the WWE main roster and NXT.

Among the departures was Shotzi, though her departure was simply her contract not being renewed rather than a release, meaning she was not subject to the usual 90 day non compete clause.

Shotzi has been announced for a number of upcoming appearances following her departure, and she competed in her first match since her departure at last night’s GCW Tournament of Survival.

Shotzi was revealed as the mystery competitor in the Tournament of Survival, where her and Jimmy Lloyd lost in a three-way to Matt Tremont in the tournament.

Following the show, Shotzi commented on her first match outside of WWE, noting that she has now ‘retired’ from death matches, unless she gets to wrestle Nick Gage.

She said:

I have officially retired from death match wrestling. Only @thekingnickgage can get me out of retirement.

Shotzi is set for upcoming appearances for MLW, as well as more appearances for GCW.
