Former WWE Star Names Conditions For Potential Return

Since Triple H took over as the head of WWE creative in July, many former WWE stars have made their return to the company.

One former star who is being speculated for a potential return is Matt Cardona (FKA Zack Ryder).

Cardona has reinvented himself on the independents since his WWE departure in 2020, becoming the ‘King of the Indies’ alongside fellow former WWE star Steph De Lander (Persia Pirotta).

Speaking to Barstool Rasslin’, Cardona named the two conditions he had for a potential return to WWE, saying it comes down to ‘the 2 cs’.

He said:

“[When are you redebuting with WWE?] The two Cs have to be right. The cash and creative. [Is there an amount of cash that can make the creative not matter as much?] Not for me. Not for me. And she [former WWE star Steph De Lander] needs to come along.”

Cardona captured his latest championship this past weekend, taking the House of Glory World Championship from Jacob Fatu at the HOG event.
