Former WWE Star ‘Hated’ Wrestling Triple H WWE

A former WWE star has named some of the men he “hated” wrestling the most, with Triple H coming in at the top of the list.

Tough Enough season one winner and three-time WWE Hardcore Champion Maven Huffman recently released his latest YouTube video, titled ‘Wrestlers I Hated Working With.’

The video saw Maven list – for varying reasons – Raven, Jeff Hardy, Rico Constantino, Scott Steiner, Lance Storm, Billy Gunn, Val Venis, debuting unsigned wrestlers, Kurt Angle and Triple H as those he didn’t like wrestling against.

Regarding Triple H, Maven explained:

“Being in the ring with Hunter was like taking an ultimate exam. Success meant your career would skyrocket, and failure could lead to losing your career all together.

“Triple H was a wrestler, he’s ‘one of the boys’ backstage, but he’s also Vince’s son-in-law and held a lot of power in that company.

“Impress him, sky’s the limit. Think of Randy Orton, Batista. Fail him, think of, well, me.

“Aside from the backstage power, there was truly no-one better in the ring than Hunter, making a match with him even more intimidating.

“But in saying that, Triple H was also one of my favorite opponents. Knowing what was at stake for my career if I impressed him, but also knowing that he was truly one of the best in the game.

“Still though, every time I wrestled Triple H, I walked around the entire day with a pit in my stomach.”
