Former WWE Star To Join Current WWE Faction?

Former IWGP Women’s Champion KAIRI has been the subject of a lot of speculation following her announcing that she was a free agent.

The former WWE star has been speculated for a return to the United States, where she was a former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion on the WWE main roster.

KAIRI has obvious history with Raw star IYO SKY from their time together in Japan and NXT.

IYO and Dakota Kai spoke to Steve Fall of WrestlingNews.co, where they were asked about KAIRI’s status.

IYO then made reference to a space in their Damage CTRL group, noting that the spot is ‘open’ should KAIRI want it.

They said:

Dakota: “We miss her.”

IYO: “Here is pretty much open. We have to ask Bayley. Let’s figure it out.”

KAIRI lost the IWGP Women’s Championship to Mercedes Mone at NJPW Battle In The Valley in February.

Damage CTRL are set to face off with Becky Lynch, Trish Stratus and Lita later on today.
