Former WWE Superstar Hornswoggle (now Swoggle) made his boxing debut at the Rough n Rowdy event in West Virginia on Friday night, and things didn’t go to plan for the former Cruiserweight Champion.
Swoggle took to Twitter to praise his opponent Jeremy Smith, noting that he was out of his depth in his boxing debut. However, the former WWE star explained that he was proud for even trying to box.
Jeremy Smith is an absolute machine! I thought I was ready but I was in way over my head.
I’m proud of the changes I’ve made to myself and proud that I even tried such a crazy idea.
Thank you EVERYONE who supported me in this! I love you all! pic.twitter.com/SZHCuxAiBw

Hornswoggle actually revealed that there were plans to bring him in to WWE last year for a pay-per-view, although those fell through. You can read more about what Swoggle claimed by clicking here.
