A former WWE star has stated they “love” the NWA product.
EC3 has been making the rounds around the wrestling landscape since his release from WWE in 2020. From stints in IMPACT and ROH to his current run in NWA, the former WWE star has further made a name for himself everywhere he could.
EC3 will be making his return to the National Wrestling Alliance to face Thom Latimer at the NWA Hard Times 3 event this Saturday, November 12.
Speaking with Liam Cowley of ComicBook, the former TNA Heavyweight Champion spoke about the NWA and stated that he loves the product.
EC3 said:
“I love what they do. And I love the product Corgan’s presenting and the freedom he gives to talent. I love the locker room and the ambiance, and the effort everybody puts in.”
“There’s veterans, there’s new guys. There’s old, there’s young. There’s experienced, there’s green. There’s such an eclectic mix.”
The Control Your Narrative head honcho continued on to state what he thinks makes NWA different, saying:
“But one thing I think is foresight focused depth of story maybe wasn’t a thing that happened as much. I’m glad to be able to bring that into NWA. The second I had that microphone in my hand, I felt at home.”
“It was a long time since I felt good about wrestling that I did not have a direct hand in putting together the show, so to speak.”
As previously reported, NWA has been dealing with a recent controversy with Nick Aldis being suspended after announcing he will be leaving the promotion in January.
