Tonight’s SmackDown has been rumored to be one full of surprises and potentially shock returns. Many are expecting major newsworthy angles to take place tonight because it’s the first show back with fans.
Well, in a bit of a shocking bit of news, a big debut happened in a dark match before the show went on the air. Davey Boy Smith Jr., also known as David Hart Smith, appeared in a tag match before SmackDown.

Smith teamed with Austin Theory. Smith is a former WWE Tag Team Champion with Tyson Kidd. Smith is part of the Hart family and also regularly appeared with Natalya.
We don’t have any word if this means Smith will be part of the SmackDown roster moving forward. Smith recently appeared for MLW and has been rumored to return for some time.
Xia Li wrestled Aliyah also on Dark. Aliyah was reportedly traded to the main roster earlier this week.
