Former WWE Star Reveals New Beer Named After Him WWE

Former WWE star Gangrel was one of many popular stars during WWE’s ‘Attitude Era.’

Forming The Brood alongside Edge and Christian, he became famous for drinking a cup of ‘blood’ during his iconic entrance to the ring.

Well wrestling fans and beer drinkers can now share their love of the former WWE star, as he recently unveiled a new beer that was named after him.

The beer, named ‘The Brewed’ is a cherry sour beer designed to replicate the cup of blood that Gangrel drank during his entrance.

Gangrel and Joe, the maker of the beverage, unveiled the beer at the CCW Bash at the Brew 26 event in an interview with Toned In Entertainment.

About the beverage, Joe said:

“The whole idea was I wanted something that was red and bloody for the man himself.

“What else does he have in the goblet than a cup full of blood? Well I figured I’d give him something a little bit tastier than a cup full of blood.”

Gangrel then went on to speak about his previous ‘Gangrel’s Pale Ale’ and how ‘The Brewed’ is only available for a limited run, unless the drink is in high demand.

He said:

“It was awesome. I had a pale ale before … Gangrel’s Pale Ale. So I had a pale ale, it was in the ale house, stuff like that, but it was only on tap.

“This one is so freakin’ cool, because it’s in a can. I can actually take it home, and put it on my shelf and stuff.

“But it’s only a limited run, unless people want it … then they’ll do another run.”
