A former WWE star has discussed a potential return.
Since taking over a position of power in WWE, Triple H has brought back a litany of former stars such as Bray Wyatt, Johnny Gargano, Karrion Kross, Dakota Kai and Candice LeRae.
The unpredictability of these returns have made WWE TV on Raw, SmackDown and NXT more intriguing than ever.
With the aforementioned return of Bray Wyatt back at Extreme Rules, many fans have wondered if Erick RedBeard make a comeback to reunite with his Wyatt Family leader.
In a new interview with Wrestlingnews.co, RedBeard was asked if a WWE return was in the cards for him. He answered:
“I would be the last to know. I feel like the fans like figure out or through you know, people call it the dirt sheets but it’s basically just the journalism without like verified facts.”
“But I sometimes feel like you’ll hear rumors and then all of the sudden they come true so that’s why I always laugh like ‘I’ll probably hear a rumor, I don’t know.'”
“All I can say is that I’m not under contract with any wrestling company, I’m a true independent contractor within acting and wrestling.”
“Independent wrestling is alive and well so you know, support your local independent wrestling promotions because without them, there’s no future stars of tomorrow unless they just recruit through colleges [laughs].”
Erick RedBeard, formerly known as Erick Rowan, was released from WWE in April 2020. He has since appeared for All Elite Wrestling on a few occasions, including the AEW Revolution 2022 Buy In.
