Former WWE Star Reacts To Being Referenced At Crown Jewel WWE

A former WWE star has reacted to being referenced on commentary at yesterday’s WWE Crown Jewel event in Riyadh.

At yesterday’s WWE Crown Jewel event, Chelsea Green and Piper Niven were one of four teams taking part in a four-way tag team match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

During Chelsea’s entrance, Corey Graves compared Michael Cole’s comments towards Chelsea Green to ‘schoolyard crushes’, before the following exchange took place:

Graves: “If you want to get into Chelsea’s good graces, maybe you should start playing with actions figures, Cole.”

Cole: “Or be an Internet Champion.”

Both comments were clear references to Chelsea’s real-life husband, former WWE star Matt Cardona (formerly known as Zack Ryder).

Taking to Twitter following the show, Cardona reacted to being referenced on the show, writing:

On #WWECrownJewel , it was revealed how I landed a hot woman like @ImChelseaGreen.
