WWE
A former WWE star is advertised as being set to return for their first match with the company in almost four years.
The October 14 episode of NXT on the CW Network will feature a battle royal to determine the next #1 contender for Jacy Jayne’s NXT Women’s Championship.
As previously agreed by Ava and Santino Marella, the match will feature a number of stars from TNA.
A lineup is now being officially advertised for the match, with an intriguing inclusion being that of Victoria Crawford, formerly known as Alicia Fox.
She hasn’t wrestled for WWE since the 2022 Royal Rumble, which itself was her first match since the 2021 Rumble, although she actually remained under WWE contract until May 2023, ending a 17-year tenure after first signing in 2006.
The advertised lineup of talent for the battle royal is as follows:
Lei Ying Lee – Mara Sadé – Xia Brookside – Heather By Elegance – Jordynne Grace – Victoria Crawford
Kendal Grey – Kelani Jordan – Jaida Parker – Izzi Dame – Tatum Paxley – Lola Vice – Lash Legend
Cassie Lee – Jess McKay – Karmen Petrovic – Sol Ruca – Thea Hail – Arianna Grace – Wren Sinclair
It’s worth noting that this match and tomorrow’s episode of NXT was taped last week due to the WWE crew being on the road in Australia for Crown Jewel this week.
Also set for NXT this week is Josh Briggs vs TNA’s Matt Cardona in what will be Cardona’s own first WWE match since his release in 2020, Zaria vs Blake Monroe, and El Hijo De Dr Wagner Jr vs Lexis King.
