Former WWE Star Returning To The Company ‘Imminently’ WWE

It’s being reported that a former WWE star will be making their return to the company “imminently” after agreeing on a deal months ago.

UPDATE 3: PWInsider has now updated its report to reflect confirmation that Sane HAS been added to the internal WWE roster but has yet to be assigned to a brand.

We’ll continue to keep you posted.

UPDATE 2: WrestleVotes now reports the following:

As of this morning Kairi Sane is listed under the MISC section of the internal company roster. For complete transparency, the MISC section currently reads as Stephanie McMahon, HHH, Undertaker, Austin, Tyler Breeze & Titus O’Neil.

There are 18 names total across 3 columns. The 18th name is Kairi Sane.

UPDATE 1: PWInsider has since reported that Sane has NOT been added to any internal roster within WWE.

Original story

Back in August, PWInsider initially reported that Kairi Sane had agreed a deal with WWE to make her return.

In a new update, WrestleVotes is now reporting:

After what feels like months of speculation, I’m told Kairi Sane has reappeared on the internal talent roster.

Her return to the company is imminent.

Sane officially departed WWE in December 2021.

Her last match with the company was actually in July 2020 but she stayed on board as an ambassador of sorts until December 2021.

Sane won the 2017 Mae Young Classic, and is a former NXT Women’s Champion and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion.

Her most recent match was for STARDOM on October 9.

Sane did post on Twitter a few days ago with what many fans took as her teasing a WWE return.

We’ll keep you posted with any further updates.
