Four-time WWE World Tag Team Champion Sylvain Grenier has announced he is returning to the company in a backstage role as a producer.

Grenier was part of the La Resistance group, and won the World Tag Titles once with Rene Dupree and three times with Rob Conway.

Speaking with TVA Sports, Grenier said that he met with Kevin Dunn in April of last year who told him WWE was looking to bring in new producers. You’ll remember this as being true as a bunch of new ones came in around that time.

The 42-year-old said that he started his role on last Monday’s episode of Raw.

He explained that he’s currently in training but will become a full producer soon:

“For the moment, I’m in training. But eventually, I will be assigned to the red team or the blue team, Raw or SmackDown. I’m going to do a TV show a week, every PPV and once a month, I’m going to tour house shows.”
