At an NXT Live Event in Riverside over the weekend, there was a backstage confrontation between former NXT Champion Johnny Gargano and Cameron Grimes (formerly Trevor Lee).
However, this is not the only noteworthy piece of news to come from an NXT house show over the weekend.
At an NXT Live Event in Phoenix over the weekend, Scotty 2 Hotty made his return for the live crowd. He made his way down to the middle of the ring and performed the worm.
Bro! We got to see Scotty 2 FREAKING Hotty!! My inner child was so happy to witness this again #NXTPhoenix pic.twitter.com/HoIZEA2w8b

It isn’t actually too surprising that the Too Cool member appeared at an NXT Live Event. For those who aren’t aware, Scotty 2 Hotty has been working as a coach at the Performance Center for some time now.
The crowd enjoyed the cool moment, as did NXT stars Pete Dunne, Matt Riddle and Velveteen Dream who were in the ring for the segment.
