The Impact Wrestling Knockouts Tag Team Tournament is underway and we already have the return of a former WWE Women’s Champion. That former champion is Jazz who will be Jordynne Grace’s partner.
This was revealed on tonight’s episode of Impact and put on Twitter shortly afterward. The two were shown backstage scouting their competition before Jazz said she wants to end her career on top.

This is Jazz’s first appearance with Impact Wrestling. She had previously retired following her appearance at AEW All Out.
Before her retirement, however, Jazz was the NWA Women’s World Champion, reigning until she lost the title in January 2019. She had been wrestling sporadically on the independent scene following her final WWE appearance in 2006. She is also a two-time WWE Women’s Champion
Jazz also said recently that she would consider coming out of retirement for a match against WWE’s Charlotte Flair. Clearly, she neglected to mention these plans to come out of retirement with Impact but we will chalk that up to keeping it a surprise.
