On tonight’s August 28 AEW Dynamite, former WWE star Ricochet took on Kyle Fletcher in a high flying and faced paced debut.
After having made his AEW debut at All In London 2024 in the Casino Gauntlet match, Ricochet made his Dynamite debut tonight in Champaign, Illinois.
The match was not a simple one for Ricochet however, rather he and Fletcher put on a relatively lengthy and competitive match.
After spending much of the match taking offense from Fletcher, Ricochet would inevitably go on to pick up the victory in his debut effort on Dynamite.
Commentary noted that his reverse DDT finishing move, was called ‘Vertigo’.
However after the match while Fletcher left the ring, Will Ospreay came out to seemingly speak to Ricochet but he didn’t get a chance to say anything.
Instead PAC struck from behind on the entrance ramp before going on to welcome Ricochet to AEW and telling him to get to the back of the line because Ospreay belongs to him.
Elsewhere on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, MJF had a face-off with a returning star as their match for AEW All Out 2024 was announced – you can click here to read more about that.
