ROH/WWE
A former WWE NXT star has now made his ROH in-ring debut, following recently being spotted on AEW Dynamite.
The AEW appearance took place on the March 26 episode of AEW Dynamite, with Von Wagner being a member of security separating Powerhouse Hobbs and Mark Davis.
Wrestling under his real name Cal Bloom, the former WWE star teamed with Deonn Rusman on the April 3 episode of Ring of Honor on HonorClub.
The debut wouldn’t go well for Bloom, with his team losing to Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona of the Gates Of Agony.
Von Wagner was released from his contract in April 2024. His final WWE match saw him lose to Lexis King on the April 2, 2024 show.
While Von Wagner was technically able to appear on the main roster after he wasn’t drafted to a brand in the 2023 WWE Draft, he eventually re-joined NXT following a brief appearance in the May 2023 Intercontinental Championship #1 contender’s battle royal.
Wagner had his first independent match as Cal Bloom in March 2025.
