Roman Reigns is arguably the biggest star in all of WWE right now, as he heads towards his sixth WrestleMania main event next month against Brock Lesnar.

Reigns came through WWE’s developmental system before moving up to Raw and SmackDown, so it’s hard to imagine Reigns wrestling anywhere else.

However, per former WWE star Rene Dupree on his Cafe de Rene podcast, Reigns’ brother Rosey almost got the Tribal Chief to work for All Japan Pro Wrestling.

He said:

“Rosey, which was Big Matty, was Roman’s brother. So before he debuted with WWE, his brother suggested he come to Japan for a few tours. The All Japan office wanted him to live in the dojo for three months and he didn’t wanna do that. He just wanted to go over and tour for three tours and then sign with WWF (WWE).”

So there you have it, your pointless piece of wrestling trivia for the day. Do with the information as you please.
