WWE/TNA
A former WWE star has officially signed with TNA Wrestling, with the company confirming the news on social media.
After making an appearance at TNA Impact’s debut episode on AMC, as well as TNA No Surrender in February, Candice Michelle has signed on to work behind the scenes in the company.
In a post on Twitter, TNA shared exclusive footage of Michelle signing her TNA contract alongside TNA President Carlos Silva and Tommy Dreamer.
As he presented Michelle her TNA contract, Silva said:
“Candice it’s so great that you’re gonna be a part of the TNA team, be behind the scenes with us. As a former champion, bringing all that experience to all the women here at TNA it’s gonna be great.
“We’re just so happy and I’ve got your contract here I think it’s got everything we talked about and we just look forward to building this together.”

In response, Michelle spoke of her joy in returning to wrestling in an official capacity via TNA, calling it a “dream come true.”
“Wow, thank you so much. It feels good to be home with wrestling and I’m just loyal, I’ve been loyal with Tommy (Dreamer) for 21 years, loyal to the business and I didn’t know that this could come back. So, to give me a platform so I can help build this with you guys and be a small little piece of that and see where I fit in there on any angle it’s really just a dream come true.
“I was actually praying, with what I do back home and I help build people’s dreams I said how can I do this on a bigger level? And it was on December 26 and my phone rang and it was Tommy Dreamer and I was like, ‘Woah, God you work through Tommy Dreamer (laughs), amazing.’
“And it kind of scared the crap out of me because I thought’, Can I do that?’ When he asked me to come back and help behind the scenes I didn’t know if I had that in me but stepping foot in here, the company you guys have built from everybody, from talent, to crew, to makeup I felt right at home so I’m happy to be here. Thank you for the opportunity.”

Candice Michelle spent five years in WWE between 2004 and 2009, with the height of her tenure being a 107 day reign as WWE Women’s Champion in 2007.
While her Women’s Title run was ended by WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix at No Mercy 2007, she would hold gold again in the company over a decade later as she defeated Kelly Kelly to become 24/7 Champion at WWE Raw Reunion on July 22, 2019 – run that lasted a matter of seconds before Michelle was dethroned by Alundra Blayze.
