Former WWE Star Signs With NJPW

Former WWE star Fred Rosser (FKA Darren Young) has announced that he has officially signed with New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Rosser has been one of the star performers on New Japan’s United States-based show NJPW Strong. The show has gone through a few rebrands since its debut last year but Rosser has been featured on the show just the same.

He revealed the news on Twitter earlier today, saying not to let your dreams just be dreams. Here is the tweet:

Fred Rosser was a WWE Tag Team Champion as part of the Prime Time Players alongside Titus O’Neil. Prior to that he had been a founding member of the Nexus and a rookie on the first season of the original NXT.

Rosser was released by WWE in October 2017 and wrestled on the independent scene before landing in New Japan. He has been praised extensively for his work in the promotion.
