A former WWE star who recently departed the company recently made a surprise appearance for another promotion.
Back in June, Carlito announced that he had been informed that his contract would not be being renewed, with him officially leaving the company at the end of his contract two weeks later.
Following his departure, Carlito has returned to his father’s WWC promotion in Puerto Rico among other independent appearances.
Today, Carlito made a surprise appearance for the German Wrestling Federation’s Battleground event in Germany, taking part in the titular Battlefield match.
Carlito would end up finishing in the final four of the match before being eliminated.
Carlito’s departure was announced the same day that R-Truth announced his departure from WWE following his match with John Cena at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Truth would return to WWE at the Money In The Bank premium live event, where he attacked John Cena following the tag team main event.
Carlito was a member of the Judgment Day during his second run with the company, with his last match taking place during the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on WrestleMania SmackDown.
