Former WWE Star Talks About ‘Clashing Heads’ With Triple H

One of the WWE stars unfortunately released by the company on what has now been dubbed ‘Black Wednesday’ was former NXT Cruiserweight Champion and 205 Live star Lio Rush.

Lio Rush, while speaking to Gary Cassidy of Sportskeeda, discussed the potential of any backstage heat or animosity with NXT boss Triple H while the pair worked together for the company.

While speaking to Cassidy, Rush spoke about “clashing heads” with “The Game”, and even questioned if Rush left WWE on good terms with Triple H. Here’s what he had to say on the matter:

“Triple H… I don’t know if it ended on good terms or not because I feel like me and Hunter, we clashed heads a lot. We were always in disagreement as far as what the plan was for me and how he saw me as a character or how he saw me as an asset to the brand.

“I feel like we were just always disagreeing all the time and it sucked because obviously I looked up to Triple H when I was a kid and stuff like that.”

Speaking of Rush, Louis Dangoor had the chance to sit down and speak with the former WWE star very shortly after his release. During the interview, Rush spoke about being let go, his time working with Bobby Lashley, asking to be taken off 205 Live and more.
