Former WWE Star Wins AEW Debut Match

Former WWE Star Wins AEW Debut Match WWE/AEW

A former WWE star won their first match in AEW on tonight’s AEW Dynamite Maximum Carnage show in Cincinatti.

MVP joined AEW back in September, when he debuted at AEW Grand Slam, confronting Prince Nana on the stage and starting the Hurt Syndicate.

In the weeks since, both Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley joined the Syndicate, with them running roughshod on Dynamite over the past few months, and they have finally set their sights on gold.

The Hurt Syndicate interrupted Private Party’s celebration on last week’s Dynamite show, where Bobby Lashley declared that they were coming for the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

That led to a six-man tag team match being made for tonight’s Maximum Carnage show, pitting Mark Briscoe and Private Party against the Hurt Syndicate, including MVP, who would be making his in-ring debut for AEW.

The Hurt Business ended up scoring the win in the match, with Lashley pinning Marq Quen.
