The name of Shawn Spears and Cassie Lee’s newborn baby has been revealed.

In August, former WWE star Cassie Lee (formerly known as Peyton Royce) revealed she was pregnant with her and AEW star Shawn Spears’ first baby.

On the latest episode of The Sessions with Renee Paquette, Spears shared that he and his wife have decided on the name of their first child.

The AEW star shared with Paquette that he already started to get his boy’s name tattooed on his arm with a homage to his late mother who recently passed away.

He said:

“Eventually someone’s going to see this. I’ll tell you his name. I might get in trouble, but at the same time there’s a reason I’m going to tell you the name.

“His name is going to be Austin Jay. The ‘Jay’ comes after Cass’ brother. That’s his name, so that’s going to be his middle name. But I also have it already, kind of, on my arm, so we can’t change our minds now.”

Spears continued on to share his tribute to his mother with the urn having angel wings on it, which is also in the tattoo.

He explained:

“Then the light that shines through kind of shines down on him. Before she passed away, she left him a message on one of those stuffed animal dolls with the voice box in it.

“She passed before she knew his name, but she knew he was going to be a boy and stuff and said ‘I’ll always be looking out for you, always be watching over you.’ “

Shawn Spears returned to All Elite Wrestling on the October 18 edition of AEW Dynamite before teaming with FTR to defeat the Embassy on the October 21 episode of Rampage.

Spears has been off AEW television in recent months, mourning the loss of his mother.
