Former WWE Stars Only Knew About Huge WrestleMania Moment A Few Days Prior

It has emerged that a couple of former WWE stars only found out about their huge moment at WrestleMania a few days beforehand.

WrestleMania 35 was a show very heavy on feel-good moments, with Seth Rollins, Kofi Kingston and Becky Lynch all overcoming the odds to win top championships.

However, the same thing happened on the pre-show, with Brian Myers (Curt Hawkins) and Matt Cardona (Zack Ryder) defeating the Revival (FTR) to capture the Raw Tag Team Championship.

This put an end to Hawkins’ 269-match losing streak in front of their home fans in New York.

Myers told Fightful Select that they didn’t even know they’d even be on the show at all until a few days prior, let alone having a huge moment like that.

He added that if he never wrestles for WWE again, he has that moment to look back on.
