Former WWE star Tommy Dreamer took to Twitter this week to share a photo of several former WWE stars standing in front of the Impact Wrestling logo.
The picture shows EC3, Curt Hawkins, Heath Slater, Tommy himself, Eric Young, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, all flipping the bird to the camera. A nice, subtle message to their former employers…
The tweet read: “Opportunity came a knocking and they kicked the FN door in. It’s about to get real.”

All the people in the picture (apart from Dreamer) were released by WWE on the same day in April 2020, and have only just come to the end of their non-compete clauses.
All have made some kind of appearance on Impact, which has taken advantage of the releases like no-one else. Impact’s Slammiversary show this past weekend was one of the company’s most viewed shows of all time, and the presence of new, well-known faces could bring a lot more eyes to the product.
You can bet this won’t be the last time a message is sent to Vince McMahon and his pals back at WWE. Just look at AEW.
