Former WWE Stars Tease Joining AEW

While it seems to be a formality that Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson will be working for Impact and possibly New Japan Pro Wrestling in the near future, that hasn’t stopped them from teasing a move to AEW. Such was the case today on Twitter.

Both men tweeted out a picture of them with the Young Bucks. For reference, both were members of Bullet Club in New Japan Pro Wrestling before Gallows and Anderson left for WWE in 2016. The Young Bucks stayed on as part of the group until the group split apart in 2018.

Gallows and Anderson have been linked to Impact for quite a while now. They are unable to appear anywhere until their no-compete clauses expire in mid-July. It was reported that the two had signed with the promotion and could be making their debuts at Slammiversary. It has also been noted that they will be able to work for New Japan as well. Whether such a deal would include being able to work for AEW is still unclear.

Of course, this picture could just as easily be a nice reunion amongst friends. Gallows and Anderson seemed to be aware of how fans would perceive this and played things up on Twitter but we will have to wait and see to know for sure.
