Former WWE Superstar, Stu Bennett is joining the NWA commentary team. Bennett will be replacing the controversial Jim Cornette.
Bennett was formerly known as Wade Barrett in WWE. Stu will be making his debut on the NWA Into The Fire pay-per-view on December 14th.
The announcement was made on NWA POWERRR, which was released today on YouTube.

Cornette was forced to step down after pressure from fans outrage over an inappropriate comment made during commentary. However, Cornette didn’t feel the need to apologize and was clearly forced to resign.
While you can certainly blame Cornette for the comment, many fans questioned how the comment made it to air on a taped show. Obviously, several people used poor judgement in releasing the footage.
Due to the bad split, you would think the NWA would distance themselves from Cornette. However, they took a different approach.

Seems odd to post this for someone who brought a lot of controversy and headaches. Cornette was still the commentator for tonight’s show, as the show’s had been pre-taped.
WrestleTalk would like to congratulate Bennett on his new role. We’re sure he will do a fantastic job.
It would also be surprising if he was to make similar mistakes to Cornette. His worst offense might be to provide some bad news for you.
