Former WWE Tag Team To Reunite After 6 Years WWE

A former WWE tag team is set to reunite for the first time six years.

Former NXT Tag Team Champions the Vaudevillains were called up to the WWE main roster in 2016, where they were drafted to the SmackDown brand in the WWE Draft.

The team abruptly broke up a year later when Simon Gotch was released from the company shortly after WrestleMania 33, with Aiden English going on to find success as the tag team partner of Rusev.

English transitioned to commentary before eventually being released in 2020, where he has since become an announcer for IMPACT Wrestling.

English (Matt Rehwoldt) recently announced that he was planning a return to the ring, and it seems as though the Vaudevillains are set to reunite.

Gotch took to Twitter, announcing that he and Rehwoldt are accepting bookings as a team for the first time in six years.

He wrote:

For those that missed it, @DramaKingMatt and myself are currently accepting bookings as a team for the first time in 6 years.

Book us before we pull a Disney Vault and disappear for another 5 years.

Simon Gotch has wrestled for various independent promotions since his WWE departure, including a recent run in Pro Wrestling NOAH.
