A recent report has revealed that some former WWE talents are in the process of starting a new wrestling promotion.
Primo and Epico were released from WWE last year. The real-life cousins are now preparing to run their own wrestling brand.
As per Dave Meltzer in the recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Primo, Epico and former WWE referee Mike Chioda are starting a new wrestling promotion in Puerto Rico.
Chioda was a notable name released in April 2020. Following over 30 years with WWE, Chioda made sporadic appearances for AEW last year.
In an exclusive interview, the legendary referee told WrestleTalk that he wanted to work backstage at the WWE Performance Center. Theorising that NXT could use a referee producer, Chioda has always shown a passion for elevating those around him.
Former WWE star Steve Maclin (fka Steve Cutler) debuted on a recent episode of IMPACT Wrestling. The company has announced that they will welcome back fans for Slammiversary in July.
