Four King Of The Ring Matches Set For WWE Raw And Smackdown

On the Raw following SummerSlam, it was confirmed that the King of the Ring tournament would be returning on the following week’s show for the first time since 2015.

The 16 competitors in the tournament, eight from Raw and eight from Smackdown, were then announced, with the tournament bracket following soon after.

WWE revealed on Twitter that tomorrow night on Raw, Cedric Alexander and Sami Zayn will go head-to-head, while Samoa Joe and Cesaro also meet in the second first-round match of the night.

This is set to be followed by a further two first-round matches on Smackdown Live, where Apollo Crews goes one-on-one with Andrade, and Elias tries to best Kevin Owens to advance into round two.
