According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, four major NXT stars are backstage at Raw tonight.
The four men in question are NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa, North American Champion Johnny Gargano, Ricochet, and Aleister Black.
What makes this interesting is a tweet earlier today from the always reliable WrestleVotes, saying that there has been a push to make tonight’s Raw feel different, something the show really needs:
Interesting yet laughable… was told there was a push this week in Stamford to make RAW feel different tonight, with those in power urging everyone to “think outside the box”. That said, tonight’s show is not finalized as of now.

The role of the four men is of course yet to be determined, and it could just be something like a dark tag match either before or after the show, but it is worth noting and potentially getting excited about nevertheless.
There were also reports a few days back of Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae being discussed for potential callups soon, and the same for former NXT Champion Aleister Black, so this could well be the first step in integrating them into the main roster.
Make sure you check back to WrestleTalk.com tonight for our live coverage of tonight’s Raw.
UPDATE AS OF 11:45pm GMT
