Roode took on Kevin Owens last night, and after Owens escaped with a quick roll-up victory, Strowman, still angry about what went down earlier in the show, confronted ‘KO’ and landed two consecutive Running Powerslams.
The ‘Glorious One’ seemed particularly happy about this, but his joy was short-lived as Strowman nailed him with a Running Powerslam, setting up their encounter next week.
As you can probably tell, WWE are basically just rotating the men’s Money in the Bank Ladder match competitors in an attempt to build some sort of program heading into Chicago on June 17.
