The tradition of NXT stars wrestling in dark matches prior to main roster WWE shows continued this past week, with four NXT stars wrestling prior to this Friday’s (November 5) SmackDown.
It was reported prior to the show that Johnny Gargano and Kyle O’Reilly would be in action in dark matches. The two faced off against each other, with Gargano scoring the win.
The other dark match saw Amari Miller defeat Dakota Kai.
Last week saw former NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez defeat Toni Storm, and the Creed Brothers lose to the Viking Raiders.
