Four-Way IWGP US Title Match Proposed For NJPW Capital Collision NJPW

A fatal four-way for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship has been proposed for the NJPW Capital Collision pay-per-view.

After missing the Wrestling Dontaku 2022 event, Will Ospreay has suggested a fatal four-way match for Hiroshi Tanahashi’s newly won gold, involving Juice Robinson and Jon Moxley at NJPW Capital Collision event on May 14.

Moxley challenged Tanahashi for the show at Windy City Riot on April 16. At the same event, the AEW star defeated Ospreay in controversial fashion.

At Wrestling Dontaku 2022 on May 1, Juice Robinson returned to NJPW, turned heel and attacked Hiroshi Tanahashi after he defeated Tomohiro Ishii to win the vacant IWGP United States Heavyweight Title. Robinson also joined Bullet Club in the process.

Will Ospreay was originally scheduled to face Tanahashi for the title at the event, but he had to miss the show due to testing positive for COVID-19.
