Four more WWE stars advanced in the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments on tonight’s episode of SmackDown.
The 2025 King and Queen of the Ring Tournaments kicked off on this week’s episode of WWE Raw, with Roxanne Perez scoring the victory over Kairi Sane, Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan to advance in the Queen of the Ring Tournament, while Sami Zayn scored the win over Bron Breakker, Dominik Mysterio and Penta to advance in King of the Ring.
The tournaments continued on tonight’s WWE SmackDown show, with all four first round four-way matches from the SmackDown brand taking place.
The show opened with Randy Orton advancing in the King of the Ring, with him scoring the victory over LA Knight, Carmelo Hayes and Aleister Black.
The two Queen of the Ring four-ways took place later in the show, with Jade Cargill scoring the victory in the first with a victory over Nia Jax, Piper Niven and Michin, while Alexa Bliss would also advance in her four-way over Charlotte Flair, Candice LeRae and Alba Fyre.
In the main event, Cody Rhodes scored the win in his first round match, defeating Damian Priest, Andrade and Shinsuke Nakamura.
The tournament will continue next week, with Randy Orton and Sami Zayn’s semi-final match set to take place on next week’s episode of SmackDown, as will Alexa Bliss’ semi-final against the winner of the four-way between Stephanie Vaquer, Asuka, Raquel Rodriguez and Ivy Nile on next week’s Raw.
It was announced earlier today that former World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso would be the mystery final participant in the King of the Ring Tournament, with him facing off with Sheamus, Rusev and Bronson Reed in a first round match on Monday night.
The winner of the match will face off against Cody Rhodes in the semi-final of the tournament.
The finals of the tournament will take place at WWE Night of Champions on June 28, with the winners earning a shot at a world championship at SummerSlam.
