The WWE 24/7 Championship shenanigans show no sign of letting up, as this weekend has seen the title change hands a few times already.
R-Truth first defeated Elias at the Fox Founders Day event yesterday. Elias was doing a performance on a stage, when Drake Maverick showed up, but security prevented him from getting onto the stage.
However, R-Truth tiptoed in from behind to roll Elias up and win the title for a 13th time.
The fun didn’t end there, though.
Truth ended up in the Fox Sports studio hiding from anyone chasing him, but he didn’t know that the man that would beat him for the title was standing right there.
As Truth went to leave, he tripped, and analyst Rob Stone – pretending to kneel down and help Truth out – actually pinned him to win the title.
His reign was short lived though, as Elias rolled him up just a matter of seconds later.
