FOX Change To WWE SmackDown Revealed

Following the company’s frustrations with this week’s show, a new report has revealed FOX’s change to the June 28 WWE SmackDown.

The June 28 edition of WWE SmackDown from Madison Square Garden was seen as a major success by both the company and fans, with the show being a sellout.

The episode featured a widely praised segment with Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline turning on and attacking Paul Heyman as well as guest appearances from NBA All Stars Jalen Brunson and Tyrese Haliburton.

However, Fightful Select reported that WWE were frustrated with the heavy censorship and editing on the FOX broadcast of the show.

In a new update from F4WOnline, Dave Meltzer reports that FOX has decided to crack down on anything deemed offensive, whether it be fan chants, signs or whatever.

The report notes that there was a video edit during Nia Jax walking out during the Tiffany Stratton vs. Jade Cargill vs. Candice LeRae Money In The Bank qualifying match because a fan flipped her off on screen.

Also worth noting, TBS has also cracked down on as far as the language on promos in AEW, but not as far as fan chants and such.
