FOX & WWE Want To Sign Daniel Cormier

FOX & WWE Want To Sign Daniel Cormier

Cain Velasquez reportedly signed a multi-year big-money deal with WWE back in October to join the company. After just one televised match, Cain was released by WWE back in April.

While the Cain Velasquez experiment might not have worked, WWE higher-ups have reportedly not been put off bringing former UFC Heavyweight Champions into the company, as they are interested in another.

Dave Meltzer stated on his Saturday Night Main Event show that WWE is still interesting in bringing in Daniel Cormier to the company. That is not all, as FOX is also reportedly interested in signing Cormier.

Cormier recently announced his retirement from MMA, so a move to WWE in some capacity could be on the cards. In a recent interview, Cormier revealed that he was actually supposed to be part of the Brock Lesnar and Cain Velasquez feud last year.

For quite some time, Cormier has spoken about being a long-time WWE fan. He has publically spoken on social media and in interviews about his desire to eventually step into the world of professional wrestling.

Interestingly, the aforementioned Cain Velasquez has gone on record to say that he thinks Daniel Cormier will eventually join WWE. You can read more about that by clicking here.
