After having appeared on NXT for the past month in backstage segments, Franky Monet will now be making her in-ring debut.
While her opponent has not been revealed, it was announced that her first match in NXT will take place in two weeks. Monet has spent the last few weeks being obnoxious backstage. She has not made many friends so it could be one of many people who steps up to be her opponent.
In one of her first appearances, Monet interrupted an interview with Io Shirai. Shirai did not appear to appreciate the interruption and could look to exact some revenge on Monet. Shirai has not appeared on NXT since the incident, saying she wanted to take time off after her NXT Women’s title reign.
It was also announced on the show that Finn Balor would challenge Karrion Kross for the NXT Championship on the same show. You can read more about that here.
