Fraxiom WWE Future Update After NXT Tag Title Loss

Fraxiom WWE Future Update After NXT Tag Title Loss WWE

An update looks to have emerged on the WWE status and future of Fraxiom after they lost the NXT Tag Team Championship.

The team of Nathan Frazer and Axiom dropped the NXT tag belts to Hank Walker and Tank Ledger at Stand & Deliver during WrestleMania weekend after reigning as champions since April 2024 – with the exception of 18 days in August where they’d lost the championship before winning it straight back.

After cementing themselves as one of the best and most popular tag teams in all of wrestling, many fans have discussed the next step for them being a call-up to the main roster, although there have also been concerns about them being split up, as they were only really put together as two singles wrestlers in the first place.

The latest update comes ahead of tonight’s WWE SmackDown, as it seems both Frazer and Axiom are at the show tonight.

As you can see below, they’ve both made posts on social media implying they’re backstage in Fort Worth, Texas, which they posted within two minutes of each other.

Tonight’s SmackDown plays host to a three-way ladder match for the WWE Tag Team Championship between DIY, the Motor City Machine Guns, and defending champions the Street Profits.

Some fans have thrown about the idea of Fraxiom being added to the ladder match to make it a four-way, but it’s not been confirmed that’s the plan.

Something that does look to be a certainty for tonight’s SmackDown is the WWE return of Aleister Black. WWE Champion John Cena will be on the show as well.

We’ll keep you posted with all the news and updates throughout tonight’s show.
