Top Free Agent Debuts On AEW Dynamite, Signs With The Company AEW

A top free agent has made their debut on tonight’s AEW Dynamite show, with Tony Khan officially announcing they are All Elite.

Former TNA World Champion Josh Alexander officially left the company back in February, with Fightful Select noting that it was expected that Alexander would land in AEW.

With the reports of Alexander’s expected AEW arrival, many fans had speculated that he would debut on tonight’s AEW Dynamite show as the Wild Card in the Owen Hart Cup against Hangman Adam Page.

It turns out, that was exactly what happened, with Alexander ultimately coming up short against Hangman in the match, with Hangman set to face off with Kyle Fletcher in the tournament’s semi-final.

Following his debut, Tony Khan took to Twitter, where he officially announced that Alexander has signed with AEW.

He wrote:

It’s official: @Walking_Weapon is ALL ELITE!

Don’t miss Josh Alexander’s AEW debut vs Hangman Page tonight in the @owen_foundation Men’s Tournament Quarterfinal, live on Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite Spring BreakThru right NOW!

Alexander isn’t the only former TNA star to debut in AEW as a wild card recently, with Speedball Mike Bailey debuting as the wild card in the International Championship Tournament last night.
