‘Heavy Attention’ On Free Agent During WWE Tryout Events

A free agent star reportedly received praise by WWE for their performance at the company’s tryouts in London over the weekend.

Ahead of today’s Monday Night Raw at the 02 Arena, WWE held a pair of tryouts at the Performance Center in London on Saturday March 29 and Sunday, March 30.

According to Fightful Select the following talent took part in the tryout on March 29: Rhio, Goldenboy Santos, Zozaya, Man Like DeReiss, Luke Jacobs, Bionic (of Gladiators TV show), Nathan Angel, Rayne Leverkusen, Danny Jones, Adam Maxted and Yago Rivera (of European League Football).

Following the second tryout on March 30, Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan learned that Aigle Black, Stephanie Maze and Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Jack Morris also partook in the events.

As previously reported, Man Like DeReiss was singled out for his impressive showing at the tryout, however, Fightful have now learned that Rhio also received “heavy praise” by WWE for her performance during the two day event, with “heavy attention” placed on her throughout.

Zozaya was another name reported to be attending the tryouts ahead of time, and Fightful Select learned that the Spanish star ended his time in Pro Wrestling NOAH early to attend the the two day event.

In addition, former WWE NXT UK star Sha Samuels reportedly helped out at the event as well as some current NXT stars.

As of now there has been no word on anyone being offered WWE contracts after the tryout, but we will provide further updates if any signings become official.
